The Art Angels were born with the Museum in 1957. A group of ladies gathered each week to play bridge. They played to benefit DMOA. Friends with a purpose, having fun, doing good together.
And each year their fun culminated in a contribution of a generous check to DMOA. Each year the check was a different amount, always a surprise, and always a special, awaited gift.
The Art Angel’s gift helped to support the Museum’s annual operations. Their friendship made a vital contribution to the Museum’s 50 years of success. It is something we celebrate, it is work to be heralded!
So, in their honor, on DMOA’s 50th Anniversary we continue their good work to support the day- to- day operations at DMOA with a new donation category: The Art Angel’s Fund.
The Art Angel’s Fund is a general support fund. Donate $100 or $10,000 or $100,000, however you are moved to participate. We consider it a gift of friendship!
